"Yes, there was," Harry replies. He doubts that anyone could have lived through either their time or the time after without knowing about Voldemort and his agenda. It's safe to assume this person is from an earlier era.

Partly Harry is relieved. He's tired of being that Harry Potter, the boy who lived and died and defeated Voldemort.

"Harry Potter," he says and straightens up to offer his hand to the other young man. "You're probably from before my time."
